I'm guessing you've invested in monitor arms or a multi-panel stand? Otherwise I'm dubious that buying aftermarket replacement stands would be cheaper than just buying the model with a good stand and not wasting anything on a junky on in the first place.
You can get height adjustable, pivotable, swivel monitor stands with positive and negative tilt angles for fairly cheap from older, reliable monitor models. 15 to 25€ for something used from older Dell or HP high end business monitors is not a bad deal. And considering they are very unlikely to ever break, it might even make monetary sense, since you only have to look at vesa mounting options and the panel and can ignore the stand completely.
They need to turn in their gamer card if the NX-EDG isn't festooned with a blinding array of taste-the-rainbow RGB LEDs and cannot project the company's stupid logo onto the desk via its stand. /s
In all seriousness, this looks like a nice monitor.
30Hz minimum FreeSync rate is spectacular. This seems to be coming from a new generation of scalers. I hope these will spread quickly to cheaper models, as $500 is a lot for a 27inch monitor.
Yeah, apparently Nixeus has create a custom scaler for this.
Trying to be patient running my GTX 570 through an old HD monitor. Maybe this and Vega will be a good combo. But we'll have to wait for them both to actually be available and reviewed.
Glad they stepped up the panel quality. Their older TN offerings (which are also 30-144hz) appear to use 6 bit panels. The color reproduction was atrocious, especially in games. Everything was washed out in the games I played. After upgrading to a non-freesync 25" 1440p monitor I was blown away by the side-by-side comparison.
The AOC monitor is a TN panel. This monitor has an IPS panel. There are very few monitors that are IPS or better with 144 Hz refresh rates at sizes of 27" or larger.

That particular Acer model also has a crap load of panel quality problems if you go by all the posters in the OCN thread: http://www.overclock.net/t/1581706/acer-xf270hu-14...The one monitor that really stands out for 27" 144 Hz IPS is the EIZO Foris FS2735 but that awesome quality comes at a price: ~1000 USD.

While it doesn't scream g4m3r like the rest of these monitors, it's still quite ugly :PVishnu NS - Thursday, June 8, 2017 - link

There are cheaper 30-144 and 35-144 freesync displays already, but they're TN panels. But if this gets some IPS competition, pricing will come down.BloodyBunnySlippers - Friday, June 16, 2017 - link

I wonder if it supports any form of blur reduction? That would be hard to give up for FPS.eek2121 - Thursday, June 8, 2017 - link
