But, does it support ECC RAM too?

It would be strange if not, since this is a server board and Ryzen does allow ECC mode.

I guess no-one has a very high opinion of the on-board PSP if Tyan are adding a whole separate BMC even to a low-end board.

A vendor like Tyan already has the whole software stack for an ASpeed BMC ready to deploy, with fairly little Ryzen-specific work needed.

Not enough SATA ports. With the AsRock Tachi, you get ECC functioning, and 10 SATA ports. Those are really the two main things I care about for my server.

This motherboard, with that color, looks more like an old Socket A/Socket 754 motherboard, than a modern AM4......

As do the majority of server / workstation / OEM PC boards!

I wish more computers came with BMC or virtual consoles. After having a taste of the forbidden fruit that is Dell idrac, it's really frustrating when I need to work on a computer and have to lug out an old VGA monitor or USB powered screen plus a wireless keyboard. I've gotten so used to being able to just connect to the management IP address and launch a virtual console after getting into homelabbing.

Having a BMC on a Crypto Mining Rig MB could be the next step for Tyan.
