I bought it too... mostly going to the devs. So far I've played a few levels of Paper Sorcerer and Desktop Dungeons. The short game bites of Desktop Dungeons is likely to waste more of my time than the others, I think. LOL
Legend of Grimrock is a good game, but it really needs to be know that is _IS_ Dungeon Master, a game by FTL published in 1987 on Atari ST and Amiga. DM was an amazing game and spawned 3 sequels. Grimrock takes nearly every single element from that game (absolutely verbatim in many places) and then adds new stuff on top. I think it does a disservice to the real designers behind the game to not make this clear up front. Almost Human didn't design it, it was designed by Doug Bell, Dennis Walker, Michael Newton, Andy Jaros, and Wayne Holder almost 3 decades ago.

Actually, Legend of Grimrock runs on its own engine.JarredWalton - Saturday, May 24, 2014 - link
I swear I read that it used the Unreal Engine somewhere, but now I see the devs saying it's a custom engine. No matter. :-)The True Morbus - Saturday, May 24, 2014 - link
Bought it. All to the devs. Paper Sorcerer is pretty great, but I'm pretty hyped up for Legend of Grimock.JarredWalton - Saturday, May 24, 2014 - link
