Ian Cutress - Monday, February 22, 2016 - linkSomehow there may have been a leak/PR that we didn't get, because the details weren't presented at the show. These phones are due out summer, some of the minutiae may change (!)
Ian Cutress - Monday, February 22, 2016 - linkOK Yes, just checked my email from getting back from evening meetings. Specs are in a press release :)
'Xperia X featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon™ 650 processor and Xperia X Performance introducing the Qualcomm Snapdragon™ 820' etc. Full news post incoming
beginner99 - Tuesday, February 23, 2016 - linkLocal onlineshop has them all listed already. Price however is way to high, X a bit higher as Galaxy S7, X Performance another $120 more while the XA is bit more than half of X. Yeah it's a preorder but there is 0 sense to choose the X when the S7 is faster and cheaper (+ VR headset). Or just get the LG G5 for like $140 less.
Sony also has these huge bezels on top/bottom. At least use physical buttons instead of onscreen if you go with these huge bezels...The S7 is pretty much the same size and weight but has bigger battery and a lot more screen space due to bigger screen and physical buttons.
Zoomer - Tuesday, February 23, 2016 - linkReview then all, please. In past years, Anand would just go out and buy interesting products. Sucks on the brand if it turned out not as flattering as they would like...
jordanclock - Tuesday, February 23, 2016 - linkDid Sony just manage to do a MWC press conference and say nothing of value? No information on these new devices, just some vague marketing speak and hand waving. They barely even demonstrated the phone. Not every event has to be an hour long spectacle like with Samsung or Apple but this was pretty much a waste of everyone's time.
